We are being gifted with another full moon in Libra! In previous forecasts I discussed the theme of endings and beginnings that is playing out this year. This full moon brings the same theme as it will be at 29 degrees in Libra. Strong cardinal energy will be present throughout this moon cycle.
Mercury is in Aries as of today. This can be a great energy to work with if you have self discipline. Having less patience and a faster temper are expected. If you’re a cardinal sign then you definitely need to watch what you say! Lashing out because you were mad is not right; nor is it a good enough excuse. Rise above this and keep the mantra “break down or breakthrough” on repeat! Awareness of the self through social gatherings is also expected. Hearing the ideas and point of view from others on something you have in common, will be beneficial. This will help expand your knowledge. Jupiter’s retrograde supports this theme as it likes to expand and magnify things in our lives. Pay attention to your social gatherings. Do you feel inspired by the people that surround you?
Mercury in Aries also gives us a sense of wanting a clean slate. We are calling truces to our relationships and battling our selfishness. We are looking at the people in our lives and asking: what have you done for me lately? Venus moves into Aries on the 20th and this theme will continue to be amplified. Cardinal energy is all about being treated right. Relationships that do not provide joy are showing their true colours now. The moon in Libra at 29 degrees tells me a lot of us have reached the end of our road with individuals. We will walk away from tough situations (things and people) and ask ourselves: did I go above and beyond? As much as we want to go above and beyond, we won’t be doing that this moon cycle. The karmic cycle stops now in our personal lives. Not only is the moon in Libra but it is also in the fifth house.
Self-care and creativity is what will make us feel secured. You may feel the need to connect with others through creative expression. By doing so you will master more of yourSelf as you observe their expressions. Wanting to be in spaces where others have similar interested will help us feel secured but also relaxed. Natural contentment is always important but it will be extremely important now. Especially with what will be going on in the environment around us.
As Pluto and Saturn prepare for their retrogrades in cardinal sign Capricorn, we will be challenged. Pluto rules power while Saturn rules control. What has power and control within our life? This is what will challenge us. It is important that we work with our spiritual anchor while we move forward. The sun is in conjunction to Uranus in Taurus. Challenging our values and the values of society as a whole, will also be magnified. We are not looking for compromise and we are not looking to fit the status quo. The south node is also in Capricorn so I am expecting to see karmic behaviour being expressed by the institutions. This top down energy influence from Capricorn will magnify the institutions to enforce things in a more harsh manner. Forcing society with heavier boundaries and a need for punishment so individuals behave, will be magnified.
I will discuss more on Pluto and Saturn’s retrogrades in later updates but do you see what is happening here? The individuals are demanding higher standards, love and security. The public is tired and wants to rest. We have a need and want to connect to nature more. We are becoming more aware meanwhile the outside public spaces want us to do the opposite. We cannot control anything but our mind and who/what we surround ourselves with. Reviewing your social circles and those who are close to you will give you a better insight of yourself, this moon cycle. This cycle is challenging us to look at our social and personal habits. Connect with the element of fire as much as you can this moon cycle to fully capitalize on the magic in the cosmos!
