Full Moon in Sagittarius ~ Through the Ego Glass

Who in the world am I? Ah, that’s the great puzzle.
— Lewis Carroll

We are still battling our egos under this Gemini sun. The full moon will occur this Monday in adventurous Sagittarius. We are filled with this sudden electrifying energy thanks to Uranus and are ready for big change! The sun is still opposite to Jupiter so of course these changes are really magnified. If there was tension and issues building up that you were trying to avoid, good luck after this moon.

This full moon is one of the few we’ve had, to be at 29 degrees. This brings on the theme of endings and beginnings again, back into our lives. Keep in mind that we have a solar eclipse coming up so whatever is ending now, its space will be filled by then. I am seeing a lot of relationships having conflict now. This includes both romantic and others. If you have a relationship in your life that you’ve been avoiding confrontation with, it’s not going to work much longer. You can stay at home now and get comfy all you want. Sure it feels good to be wrapped up in nostalgic memories we use to love as kids, but is this really helping you?

Mercury’s conjunction to Mars in the 11th house still has us tied up in social gatherings to learn more about ourself. But the truth is, these gatherings you’re getting yourself into will only expose more of what you don’t want to see. Neptune is on the descendant in Pisces, within the 7th house. This means that we are really looking at our relationships and what they say about us. With Virgo on the ascendant, we could be asking ourself if this person is good enough for us. We could have been under a spell per say, by this person but we are now realizing what’s going on. Neptune is also trine to Mercury and Mars so this theme is reflected in our social spaces too.

We will be discovering our unconscious and what qualities lie there. As we fight our ego and our need to want to be recognized, we are becoming more aware of our surroundings. We are realizing that the qualities and themes we are seeing in our social gatherings, does not represent us anymore. So we decide to stay home because it’s easier to be a hermit than to tell people you don’t want to vibe with them anymore, right? Jupiter’s opposition to the sun and Venus, confirms this theme to be true. While we try to figure out what’s truly going on with us and who we are, we choose to stay within our shell. Society may have us to believe that getting out and about will help but actually this is just distracting us.

This inner work and healing needs to be completed. This theme was present during the new moon and it is present now. Finally with the moon in its climax, we are becoming closer to this stage. The things and the people around us that we consider part of us, are no longer good for us. We are realizing this more and more each day and it hurts! By the solar eclipse we will be stepping into a new chapter of our lives. Until then the universe suggests we tune into our higher self and really connect. When you’ve come to the same conclusion that you knew from the beginning, you’ll know it’s time to release. This full moon will remind you why it’s important to follow your intuition, and to never allow anything to take that power away.
