Jupiter enters Aries

Jupiter is making big moves this week, after a lengthy slumber in Pisces. The planet of luck, expansion and wisdom, enters Aries on May 10. Jupiter tends to magnify the themes related to the zodiac sign it resides in. Aries rules under various themes including new cycles and beginnings, self growth, boosting of our confidence and owning what is ours, protection and strategy. These themes are also connected to the planet Mars, as this is Aries ruling planet. We may find ourselves reflecting on our self growth a lot more, while Jupiter is in Aries. This can take form in themes of Jupiter such as studying a hobby, diving into ancient knowledge and practices, spirituality and religion. Jupiter is optimistic and believes in the future being exactly as what is desired. With the energy of Aries, confidence is extremely present, even when slight doubt may be felt. Aries reminds us to be brave enough to stand up for our vision!

After swimming in the depths of Pisces, Jupiter brings a collective shift that includes a desire to self study, and recognize the divine within ourselves; this leads to an awakening. Pisces has a way of keeping us in a place of stillness. Although stillness is necessary while observing and digesting details from the Divine, action is also required in order to make change. Jupiter entering Aries ensures that we now move forward with the divine wisdom we have been gifted, and put it into practice. This will require bravery, boldness and a strong sense of self. Aries being the first of the zodiac, enjoys winning and zooming through ideas to make it to the end. It’s important that we remember to keep our discernment close, to avoid creating chaos. Sometimes Jupiter jumps to conclusions too soon, and can lose its temper quickly, when in Aries.

If we are able to keep ourselves focused on our personal goals, the distractions will not matter. When completing our goals it’s important to remember that there is no rush, nor any competition! There is no traffic in your lane; own the moment. The only being or obstacle in our way, could only be ourself. But if we remain grounded and respond carefully (not through instant reaction), we will reach our goals with ease. Jupiter in Aries feels like a lot of personal wins for the collective. We may have felt some doubt and concerns about some of our goals, and perhaps even questioned if they were realistic. The truth is, the Pisces stellium slowed down a lot of timelines, but in this stillness we learned so much. Now with Jupiter in Aries, we are able to step into these timelines with confidence. Victory is won while Jupiter is in Aries, but it requires our loyalty and devotion to ourself and the Divine!

Jupiter in Aries will connect with the planets in various ways. Here are the key dates:

  • Jupiter stations retrograde in Aries (8°) - July 28

  • Jupiter re-enters Pisces - October 28

  • Jupiter stations direct - November 23 (Pisces 28°)

  • Jupiter re-enters Aries - December 20

On May 29, Jupiter will connect with Mars in Aries at the 3°. This day and the week leading up to this, can feel heightened with tension. We may find ourselves becoming short tempered and impatient with ourself. It would be best if we completed tasks that bring peace of mind, and think carefully with discernment before speaking! We can channel this energy positively by spending time outdoors and enjoying wellness activities.

Jupiter will connect with the north node of fate on June 25, which may bring some challenging thoughts on what lies ahead. We may find ourselves reflecting on if our plan does make sense, or if we are being too ambitious. By reviewing our progress, we can bring forth clarity.

On July 21, September 21 and March 21 2023, Jupiter will connect with Saturn, which can come with reality checks and humbling of our ego. It’s important that we keep ourselves grounded at this time, as we may become defensive when criticism is delivered. The Divine works through everyone, therefore those we connect with at this time may have something important to teach us.

Once Jupiter re-enters Aries in December, Jupiter will remain in this sign until May 16, 2023, when the planet of expansion will enter Taurus.
