The final eclipse of 2022 illuminates the skies on 11/08 at 6:02am est, 3:02am ptd. Taking place on the Taurus-Scorpio axis, this moon is the continuation of the eclipses we saw earlier this year. Taurus is ruled by Venus, which means naturally this moon can highlight themes to do with our values, finances, and relationships. The sun in Scorpio opposes the Taurus moon, providing us the opportunity to reflect on where we may have given up our power in these areas, in hopes to receive more control over a situation. Power struggles have been an ongoing theme throughout the collective as we are under the Scorpio sun, but the lessons we’ve learned from 6 months ago when the solar eclipse in Taurus took place, are now returning to see if the wisdom has been applied. For those who may have been trying to maintain their grip on situations they’ve outgrown, this full moon brings these cycles to an end.
The north node and Uranus conjunct this moon, which further pushes us out of our comfort zone and into spaces that align with our destiny. At first, these changes can seem random or catch us by surprise, but the truth is we’ve been preparing for this catapult for over 6 months! Mercury and Venus both sit in Scorpio with the sun, which means some of these changes could also be taking place in our social circles, contracts and other affairs we’ve mingled with others. Saturn in Aquarius squares off to the Taurus-Scorpio axis, while Mars in Gemini (who recently stationed retrograde) squares off to Neptune and Jupiter in Pisces. We may not be able to see the vision clearly just yet, but moving forward is absolutely necessary if we are to ensure the reaping of our blessings.
The south node in Scorpio is also activated at this time, which means all sorts of temptation can rise, just as we’re about to make our exit. In order to receive the miracles of this eclipse, we’ll have to tap into our intuition and apply discernment carefully. Whatever steps we take that feels like heavy lifting, is most likely a step out of alignment. This moon reminds us that less is more, all we have to do is remain grounded and rest to receive.
