Spring Equinox Supermoon in Libra
The spring equinox, which occurs on the Aries equinox falls the same time of the full Moon in Libra; both being in cardinal signs. We can expect feelings of moving forward and new starts, as with all cardinal signs bring on a new beginning.

0 degrees in Cancer/Capricorn are the time of the Solstices, while 0 degrees in Aries/Libra are the Equinox. Both with specific dates where seasons change! The Sun in Aries brings on the feeling of strong commitment to our vision. You can expect to see activation in your chart wherever Aries lies. The planets will also begin to go direct into Aries for the next 6 weeks which will continue to reinforce this energy of moving forward. This Libra Supermoon is the 5th full moon in a row at 0 degrees of its sign. It is also the 3rd Supermoon in a row! The number 3 in Numerology is connected to optimism, creative expression and growth. The number 3 is also connected to the planet Mars (Tuesday/Mardi) and The Empress tarot card.
The full Moon taking place at 0 degrees in Libra supports the on going trend of endings and beginnings. The full Moon in Libra brings on the feeling of connection to our loved ones, initiating new ideas, being the balancing force between people and the major need of inner connection. Connection to ourselves and our higher Selves. Libra of course brings up the theme of relationships and changes or new themes popping up in our relationships. If relationships are not present for you, pay attention! As the Moon continues to shift days after the Supermoon, it will move towards the super galactic centre which is at 2 degrees in Libra*. This strong portal tends to be very connected to relationships and can have a strong presence in an empath’s chart or healers chart.
When I think about Libra, I think about the planet in which it is ruled and that is Venus. Venus is currently in Aquarius which is all about freedom. The need for freedom and space will continue to be present. Taurus which is also ruled by Venus, is exactly where Mars is, squared to Venus. Mars which is all about action is within a fixed sign, just like Venus in Aquarius. A lot of questioning to do with security in your relationships vs wanting more freedom will be present now. Connecting this back to the cardinal signs where the Sun is in Aries, brings on this urge to focus all on only ourselves. While the cardinal sign Libra of the Supermoon challenges us to think about us. All of us! When you find yourself in a tough situation, ask: what would love do in this situation?
The Sun is in conjunction to Chiron in Aries so although we are having this urge to focus on ourselves, we can balance this energy with the Libra Supermoon and connect within and heal. Chiron is connected to healing and I see more and more symbols and visions of healing constantly. I especially see sound healing, frequency work being the focus of the shift. As we begin to heal, we begin to build a strong connection to our spiritual anchor. This is completely necessary if we are to adapt successfully to the energy shift currently happening on Earth. As I’ve mentioned before there are big drops in the Earth’s magnetic shield, welcoming in more galactic and cosmic energy. The magnetic speed of the North Pole has sped up “coincidentally”. Which is no surprise as we expected magnetic ruling planet Uranus in Taurus, to bring on such a mess with such speed. The Earth’s heartbeat aka Schumann’s resonance* occurs at 7.83Hz. The human’s relaxed state is also measured at 7.83Hz; coincidence? I think not. The Earth’s heartbeat has now jumped to 36Hz at times. I am highlighting this to show that our need to focus within is really needed now more than ever. Climate change is just part of the reason. Becoming aware of all the nourishment we are providing our bodies (physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually) is so important now!
As mentioned previously, a higher shift of consciousness will be felt. It is extremely important that we check in with ourselves more often and focus on that internal anchor. We must continue to elevate our frequency. With Mercury and Neptune squared to Jupiter brings on this “sky is the limit” attitude at times. Conjure this for when you’re working on projects and manifesting something new into your space! The shadow side of Pisces where both Neptune and Mercury lay continue to bring on that wave of wanting to know the truth and having more secrets come to life. That being said, some relationships just might not make it to the end of this moon cycle and that’s oaky. Understanding that a higher version of yourself is going to need sacrifices. Saturn in conjunction to Pluto in Capricorn reminds us that sometimes, reality checks are necessary!
Remember that the best abundance and light comes from trusting Spirit/The Universe and we have to surrender. Allow yourself to radiate your inner Empress and be open to receiving. In order to do so we have to connect with and trust.
