You can always tell when we are in October, because everything picks up out of nowhere. This is the natural energy of the Libra sun, as this cardinal sign is swift in execution and chooses to complete things quickly. With the keepers of time Saturn and Jupiter, stationing direct this month, we can expect our plans to take off and produce blessings. This is the harvest season! Pluto, Saturn, Jupiter and Mercury will all go direct this month, which may leave us exhausted. It’s best we ease our way back into the flow of things rather than push for them to happen. Sticking to simple routines, that allows space for solitude, is important. We will remain in the shadow period of Mercury, the entire month. Although things are moving forward, there are still things we need to reflect on before taking the first step. Part of moving forward, is preparation. This season is about nurturing our bodies (all of them!) with the fruit of our labour, and preparing for winter. The more we inch closer to Samhain, the more Spirit is calling us to rest and tune in. 

The Aries full moon ensures heat, movement and divine masculine energy as the theme. Putting yourself first, and choosing your peace! Prioritizing the priorities! Being selfish is not always bad. This allows us to honour our boundaries and our growth.

Aries 

This month is all about bringing forth balance in all of your plans. As your planet sits in the air sign Libra, harmony and peace are themes for the month. Abundance, growth and expansion are sure to come your way with ease. Any projects that you are currently working on, could be ready to bloom this month, as Jupiter is working in harmony with your ruling planet. Your gratitude practice is extremely important at this time! With Jupiter’s luck on your side, your thoughts and actions can expand greatly, setting the stage you’re about to walk on. The full moon taking place in your sign is sure to bring breakthroughs and growth. Security within yourself and your relationships are intentions you could be setting at this time. In order to receive the intentions you set, you’ll have to let go your control. Surrendering your mind and heart to the divine, will ease your worries and allow your intentions to flow to you with ease.  

Taurus 

There is a lot of movement and changes going on this month for you! Transformation, self expression, relationships and freedom, are all themes for the month ahead. With so many shifts taking place, it can be hard to feel grounded through it all. Your visions and ideas could be changing at this time, which may cause confusion and uncertainty in self. Your intuition is potent this month, as Venus continues to move through the sign of Scorpio, and finally moves its way into Sagittarius. This is not necessarily a month where you’ll have much action taking place, as the wheel continues to spin. With your full moon taking place next month and kicking off eclipse season, this month is full of reflection and solitude. Trust your intuition to guide you, and return to your healing work. Structure and a routine that feels practical, can help you build back your confidence. 

Gemini

Your ruling planet is in retrograde as we enter this month, but stations direct midway through. Up until that point, you could feel as though you’re in a void space, waiting for things to happen. Pluto squares off with your planet on the 1st, which could cause the slow pace you’re feeling. This is a time of reflection, observation and self growth. What wisdom have you gained, what skills have you sharpened, during this time? How are you exercising both at this time? With Mercury in Libra, there is a focus of peace, balance and harmony this month. Allow yourself to become light as a feather and more carefree. Tapping into your inner child that enjoys some play. This can help with your creativity, and inspire you to conjure something new, to be shared later on. Expansion and relationships could also be highlighted this month, as you learn to create balance within them, and yourself. These new projects will require more of your time, and your commitment! You don’t have to choose, but with more discipline you can enjoy both. 

Cancer 

This month there are a lot of eyes on you! You can use this to your advantage for the projects you’re working on, where you desire expansion. Through focused intention and movement, your abundance will grow over time. Be sure to not take this time for granted! Your motivation to receive the blessings of the harvest are strong, bank on them to keep you fuelled through the tricks and treats! Your mind can be extremely hyper at this time, heightening your need for silence and solitude. Be sure to take plenty of breaks to avoid burn out. As we inch closer to the full moon, this busy schedule will begin to slow down. The shift will begin to go from movement to stillness, as though you are entering hibernation yourself. Shedding skin and embracing the rebirth that is slowly taking place. Focusing on the facts and creating a practical plan for yourself and your winter goals, can be expected. 

Leo

This is the month to get yourself in formation! A time of self growth, expansion and perfecting your skills. This requires studying, observing and acknowledging the energy around you. Making wise choices are extremely important at this time, as the actions you move with, are expanding to create the reality around you. You reap the seeds that you sow! This month you may find yourself to be more social and busy with your community, allowing you to connect with those you appreciate on a deeper level. This allows you to receive messages from the divine, that connect with the journey you’re currently on. Remember that you cannot make your problems go away by keeping yourself extremely busy. Eventually these repressed emotions and thoughts will catch up with you, creating blockages in your plans. If these are not dealt with accordingly, you may see some shifts take place after the full moon. Allow yourself time to hold space for all of your versions of self that come to surface.  

Virgo

Sometimes breakdowns happen, so that an amazing breakthrough can take place. You are the wizard of your own world and all that you desire, can be manifested with ease this month. If you’ve been waiting to receive a signal from the divine to move forward with certain plans, you can expect to receive them now! This month is all about moving forward and not looking back. Resisting the changes taking place can create disappointment and uncertainty in yourself. As you continue to flow forward, continue to observe your patterns and behaviours. You may notice that with these changes, come the shift in your social life. If this means creating distance, so that you can focus on what is important, know that it is for your best interest. You don’t have to be distant and cold, but you do have to stand your ground! Show up for your intentions and projects, the same way you are showing up for others. Boundaries may be a theme that you have to revisit this month, and can set intentions for under the new moon. 

Libra 

Happy solar return! This is your month to stand out and shine! The cosmos are full of movement this month for you, as the new moon in your sign takes place, plus Mercury stations direct. This movement alone can create new beginnings and excitement in your life, which gives you the perfect reason to celebrate yourself. New growth and expansion can be expected with abundance, your career, and  how you see yourself; it’s makeover season! Now although it is your season, this is not a time to be careless and gamble your divinity. Ensure you are making decisions that make sense. If there is confusion, doubt or instability, you must let it go! Allow your intuition and discernment to guide you, and you’ll ensure to make the right investments. Beware of those that attempt to cling onto your abundance and exhaust you of your energy. Boundaries and discipline are huge themes this month. By creating balance in your routines and keeping things simple, you’ll be able to glow through this solar return like the boss babe you are. 

Scorpio 

Pressure makes diamonds or dust, and this month, you are feeling that pressure. Resistance and friction may feel heightened this month, as the cosmos are challenging you to level up. It’s the start of your season this month, and time for you to show off the wings you’ve received. This month is about keeping things simple and not over complicating your plans. Sagittarius

Capricorn 

This month is preparing you for the season of hustle. While others are hibernating and slowing down, you are waking up from your slumber and executing plans. You can expect to be busy this month, as the projects and intentions you have been working towards, are in full affect now. The focus for this month includes organization and awareness of your abundance. As you are becoming busy and full, ensure you are being mindful of where exactly your energy is going. Pisces

This month is about getting clear on what it is you want. It’s time to look at the plans and intentions you’ve set for this year, and complete a check in. This could be painful, but avoiding this exercise is not best. You must face this reality, so that you can enhance it with the dreams you envision. Not just with others, but with the divine, and your higher self. It appears there are different messages being shared among the planes you exist on, and thus causing more confusion for you.
